Huh, so it's been a year. More than a year. Oops.
Well, if there's anyone out there still listening - muchos gracias. And I'm back (well, I'm gonna try). 2013 was a crazy and great year. Here's the highlights:
I took the PE exam twice, and passed once. So, that's Desiree, PE to you! Be ware world, I can stamp things now. :)
I finished 4 baby quilts, 30 quilted placemats, and half a dress (don't worry - I'm not going to work half-clothed ... it will get finished ... eventually)
I ran a few half marathons - including one PR @ the shamrock half in Virginia Beach
Rob & I went to chicago with a friend & I fell in LOVE with Chi-town!
Rob finished several more of his masters classes & he's now more than half way through his program and he's still got a 4.0 (go ROB!!!!)
Rob & I went on a cruise with his family
Kona had surgery on both of her little puppy knees (at different times) she's still recovering on her left knee - but is doing really well
Rob's brilliant father Ken won the family fanatasy football trophy (we still need a name for this thing) and part of it broke in transit to Texas :(
Rob & I had a great group of friends that we had football Sunday with every week!
We've both stayed busy at work & are still having fun-ish most of the time :)
I'm sure that much more cool stuff happened - but I can't really remember because - last but not least, we're pregnant (and I've got pregnancy brain big time all the time).
That's right. We're welcoming our bundle of screaming joy come Sept 8, 2014.
So - stay tuned. Hopefully I can catch up the blog with some pictures from the past year & then keep up with more regular posts of life in the crazy (and only getting crazier) Halsor household.
HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!
